This photo shows the finished painting. I’ve pulled some of the tape so you can see what the background wash has done for the piece. I used one wash of Raw Umber with a touch of Burnt Sienna, then after that wash dried, a weak wash of Cadmium Orange. It looks overpowering when applied, but dries to a nice warm atmospheric glow.
This supplies the finishing touches to our painting. I’ll wrap it up tomorrow.
